Holes
The worst kind of drywall damage is holes. Accidents, plumbing leaks, or even regular wear and tear may be to blame. They might be extremely little, like those produced by nails, or extremely enormous, like those produced by doorknobs.
Water Damage Drywall Repair
One of the most frequent types of drywall damage can be brought on by leaks, flooding, or even just high humidity. Repairing water damage as soon as it occurs is crucial. If not, the damage will only worsen and might eventually cause mold to grow.
Impact Damage
Another typical sort of damage to drywall is impact damage. Dropped objects, slammed doors, or even ordinary wear and tear can be the reason. Impact damage can range from the really modest, like a small dent, to the more serious, like a big hole.
Drywall Cracks
Another frequent drywall problem is cracks. They can result from factors like shifting foundations, alterations in climate, or even just everyday wear and tear. Cracks can range from being extremely little, like hairline cracks, to being more serious, like huge cracks. For this kind of ugly damage, joint compound and drywall tape or masking tape are required.
Other Damages
Other sorts of damage that can happen to drywall include scratches, dents, and gouges. Even while these kinds of damage are typically not as severe as the other kinds, they can still be ugly and need to be fixed. The damage will worsen the longer you wait. You might be able to repair minor damage, such a small dent or crack, on your own. You will need to employ experts if the damage is more severe, such as a major hole or water damage.
Phase 1
Interior: We can apply paint to new and old surfaces. New surfaces usually require 1 coat of primer and then 1 coat of interior latex paint for ceilings and walls. Older surfaces when getting repainted will usually get 1 coat of paint when applying same or similar color. When changes colors we recommend 2 coats of latex paint. For dark colors getting repainted with lighter colors we recommend 1 primer coat and 2 coats of paint. That should be enough coats as we use top high quality paints for all of our applications. Using low quality paint can mean doing more coats of paint which will cost more to the client and sometimes come out blotchy and fade with time.
Phase 2
For trim, baseboards, crown molding, and doors we usually give the surfaces a light and cleaning and lightly sand out imperfections if needed. Then we apply 1 coat of either satin, semi-gloss latex paint or oil base paint. For kitchen Cabinets and Bathroom Vanities when re painting with same or similar color we clean and lightly sand surfaces and apply 1 to 2 coats of latex or oil base paint. For painting stained Kitchen Cabinets we clean all surfaces, apply 1 coat of oil base primer, caulk and putty all nail holes, all surfaces will be lightly sanded, cleaned up of dust and grime. Then apply 2 coats of paint in latex or oil base paint in top coat color.
Phase 3
Exterior: We first repair any damaged trim and replace rotted wood or siding. Pressure wash all surfaces to be painted. Caulk and putty all seams and nail holes. Apply 1 coat of paint if same or similar and if color is different there is a 2 coat step for better coverage. We can prime & paint siding, trim, brick, concrete, stucco and metal exterior surfaces.
Phase 1
Popcorn Texture also known as Acoustic Texture was a very popular style in the 1960’s to 1980’s also up to the early 2,000’s on tract homes. Popcorn texture started or was invented in London in the 1930’s. Was a style made popular to avoid more steps or extra coats of mud or joint compound to cover imperfections in the finished drywall or plaster. Some finishes even had shiny flakes made of plastic to give it an aww feel.
Phase 2
It has become outdated and unwanted in the last 20 years from homeowners because not only is it unpleasant to look at but attracts dirt, pet hair and spider webs. Clients prefer a more modern texture such as orange peel or slick/smooth surface. Our team has years of experience removing these ceilings, so we can have your ceiling looking brand new in no time. If you’re considering removing the popcorn from your ceilings, there are a few considerations. First of all, removing them by yourself can be challenging. It is preferable to leave it to the experts if you lack experience.
Phase 3
It can also be messy. You’re likely to wind up with debris covering your floor and walls, may get dust into your appliances, and air returns. This is why it’s safer to get qualified specialists for the work, they’ll keep the mess under control and guarantee that your area is clean after completion.
Give us a call if you’re ready to get rid of your popcorn texture. We can do 1 room or your entire home including high ceilings. We’ll be delighted to provide you with a free estimate and get to work right away.

It all depends on what has to be done and what type of price we agree on before we start. Latex paint lingers a lot less than oil base paint, but both will eventually go away. Your day-to-day living and air conditioner working helps by removing the inside air and bringing in fresh air from outside will help.
Repairs are to be paid once completed that same day unless your insurance company is paying then we would have to communicate directly with them before we start.
